Wedding Shoot. 31 May 2004.

He walked with her ahead of the photographer, hand in hand, as his childhood friend chased after their shadows with the camera in his hand. They strode over the fairway under the bemused observation of staff working on the golf course, with strong gait, confidently, freely. The intensity of the evening sun could not be more perfect than it was now, and they basked in it. On normal days the tropical heat would have drenched their skins in sticky persperation. But today, as though the weather was in collusion with a benign and compassionate God, supplied the breeze, the beautiful blue azure sky, the fluffy white clouds that dissipated and eased the harshness of the sun's rays.

And they basked in it.

Ahead of them, the water hazard shimmered from the fishes surfacing to feed on the mosquitoes that skidded over it for a drink, and so the circle of life was sustained. The grass cannot be any greener than this, she thought to herself, remembering how she once didn't think it was possible to ever be happy again.

Today, she was happy again.

Many thanks to Jeremy Ong for taking such beautiful photographs... he truly has a keen eye for beauty and composition
